Tiered Tutors

With our extensive experience in recruiting highly skilled tutors we have refined our method of identifying a good tutor. Even though we only recruit tutors that meet our strict criteria we are also able to identify great tutors from good tutors so that you are able to select the perfect tutor that best suits your needs and budget.

Tier Overview:

Tutors may be in different tiers for the different subjects that they teach. Following is a description of the Tiered System that we use to categorise our tutors:

All Tiers: Tutors must have passed a Blue Tutors Assessment.

Tier 1: New tutors who are yet to receive sufficient feedback from their students. We think they have the potential to be excellent tutors.

Tier 2: Tutors who have received very positive feedback from past students, and tutors who have studied or taught at Cambridge and Oxford Universities.

Tier 3: Tutors who have consistently received excellent feedback from their students, and who we believe are among the best tutors in the country.

Tier Assessment:

The main factors involved in determining the tier of a tutor are listed below. We currently use these as guidlines as every person, and every tutor is different.

2) Feedback from students
3) Qualifications
4) Experience
5) Professionalism
