Terms and Conditions

Definitions and Interpretation

Lesson:	A period of time during which the Tutor promises to tutor the Tutee for which the Tutee promises to pay the Tutor.
Lesson Fee:	Amount charged for a Lesson made up of the Tuition Fee and the Travel Expenses
The Partnership:	Cambridge Tutors UK and Oxford Tutors UK, a partnership between Cammil Taank and Peter Edwards.
Travel Expenses:	Amount charged for the Tutor’s travel to and from a Lesson
Tuition Fee:	Amount charged for tuition during a lesson based on a per hour rate

If you, the Tutee, arrange a lesson with a Tutor introduced to you by The Partnership then you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions stated below

Terms and Conditions

1) If the Tutee cancels an arranged Lesson without 24 hours’ notice for a reason other than an accident or emergency then the Tutee shall be obliged to pay a cancellation fee amounting to half of that cancelled Lesson’s fee including travel expenses unless a mutual agreement has been made between the Tutee and the Tutor.

2) If the Tutor cancels an arranged lesson without 24 hours’ notice for a reason other than an accident or emergency then the Tutee is entitled to ask that a following Lesson up to the same duration be given at half price unless a mutual agreement has been made between the Tutee and the Tutor.

3) Payment should be made by the Tutee either directly to The Partnership or to the Tutor at the end of each Lesson. Unless The Tutee states a preference, it will be assumed that the Tutee will pay the Tutor. If The Tutee decides to pay the Partnership directly then payment must be received from the Tutee for the lesson before the date of that Lesson.

4) If payment for any Lesson has not been made then the Tutee will be invoiced and asked to make payment within 14 days. Failure to do so will result in a £40 late payment fine. Interest will be charged on the outstanding amount at 23% over base rate.
