Welcome! Having graduated from Oxford with a Distinction in my Masters in 2011, I moved to central London, and have been tutoring privately for the past 6 years, mainly in GCSE and A Level History and Latin. I am familiar the new specifications for both subjects and levels, and the challenges involved in achieving these qualifications. I also act as an educational consultant specialising in Oxbridge entrance, and am experienced in giving practice interviews for Oxbridge entrance, and tailoring personal statements to the requirements of Russell Group universities. I teach mainly in central or West London.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and strongly believe that one-to-one tutoring, whether or not for exam preparation, should not be a chore for either the teacher or the student. I take great joy in finding different ways to help my students improve their grades or feel more comfortable in their studies - I endeavour always to tailor my teaching style to the needs of each student. I find that best results are achieved when the student is committed and interested, and I feel I am able to convey my own enthusiasm for the subject to them. I have many positive recommendations from previous students available upon request.

I now work as a freelance professional musician and educator in central London, so I divide my time equally between performing and academic tutoring. In my spare time, I very much enjoy tap dancing and exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding London.
