Jessica

Well I've listed my experience already, so I suppose all that remains is to describe my teaching methods. I really believe that communicating enthusiasm for one's subject is half the battle, as in that process you usually convey the tools and the vocabulary for students to use to tackle difficult topics themselves. I have been told by my A Level students that I explained Keynesian economics more effectively in ten minutes than the teacher had in an hour. I am as passionate about 19th-century British politicians as I am about Shakespearean classical references and the diverse dramatic purposes of the rhyming couplet. I will set homework, and practice exercises and questions, though as an extra-curricular activity I am aware this will play second fiddle to school work. Which is why I incorporate practice exam questions into weekly sessions, which we both have a try at answering and compare our results. Oh, and as a bonus you probably won't have to pay travel fees, because I have a bike.
