Daniel

Hello! My name is Daniel (but I go by Dan) and I have been tutoring for around three years now. I have worked with many different students in many different environments and I treat each student as a unique challenge.

I enjoy tutoring for two primary reasons. Firstly, I honestly find there is no more rewarding feeling than encouraging and helping someone to understand something they find difficult. Secondly, I have an interest in computational learning and so I find it helpful to encounter the variety of ways people learn.

I am an avid reader, predominantly of 20th century classics. I also write, mostly poetry, but also short stories. I have a strong interest in films too and try to watch as many interesting ones as I can. I play a few instruments and retain a strong interest in music too. I also enjoy video games in my off-time as they provide good ways to challenge yourself.
