Well, it’s been a week where I haven’t really done very much to do with tuition, it’s been all admin and organisation. Not something I particularly enjoy, but it has to be done.
The good news is that the organisation was mainly for two companies who are offering great opportunities for our tutors. One is a long-term EFL class, which will start in London soon, and they’d like our tutors to teach the classes for them. The other is a program in Scotland this summer for some foreign students, and a couple of tutors are required to teach full time for 2 weeks.
I’ve also been thoroughly testing the new assessment system, and I think it’s ready to go online so that trained assessors can start to assess tutors. I know I’ve said this before, but I’m pretty confident that it will be up and running this week now. I can only apologise for the delay, but I’m hoping that it has been well worth the wait.
