The snow last week has caused a real problem for students everywhere. Obviously lots of schools around the country have been closed, which means students have had less preparation for their January exams than would have been ideal. This should lead to increased demand for tuition, but we’ve seen fewer lessons in the last week than normal because of the difficulty in travelling.
I’ve also tried to stay indoors as much as possible, but from this week I’m out and about. We have assessments in Cambridge today, and I’m training another assessor on Thursday. I think I’ve mentioned before that I really enjoy assessing and teaching because I don’t get much opportunity to do either anymore because I’m so busy with everything else.
Anyway, hopefully there won’t be any more snow related trouble for students across the country, or for our tutors in getting to them.
