A Little Trouble Finding Tutors Outside of the South East

It’s felt like a much more productive week. I was able to spend a lot more time working at my desk, and while it’s not as enjoyable as tutoring, or training someone to assess tutors, it does feel more like I’m actually progressing.

However, we are currently getting loads of applications from potential tutors, and so many of them are booking assessments, so all the rushing around I did previously was well worth it. I’m having a bit of trouble finding tutors in the areas where I’ve trained assessors though, and I’m not really sure why. I suppose that I’ve always taken for granted, the ease with which we find tutors from Oxford and Cambridge, so I’m going to have to get my thinking cap on to find tutors in Edinburgh, Birmingham, Nottingham, Glasgow and Cardiff. If anyone out there has any ideas then please let me know!

What I have been doing recently though is learning a little more programming, so hopefully I’ll be able to improve a lot more things over the next few days. A lot of things initially will be to help me and Harriet, but a lot should filter down to our tutors soon.
