So, it’s finally up and running. The new assessment system, which I thought was going to be ready in January, is now on the website. It’s been a long frustrating wait, but I’m very relieved that it’s now working well, and a few prospective tutors have already booked some assessments.
Last week was spent doing a lot of testing for this new system to make sure that everything did what it was supposed to do, and there were a few glitches, but thankfully we managed to resolve them by the end of the week.
The new system to assess tutors has taken up pretty much all of my time for the last seven days, but I hope to get on with other things now (although I enjoyed developing the system, I’m not a fan of testing website programs). The main task is to find many more students who need help with the upcoming exams, so I’m hoping to spend this week thinking of creative ways to do that.
