I suspect it might be a little boring to read about more programming things that I’m doing. To be honest, it’s pretty boring doing them a lot of the time! But I’m not doing a huge amount else at the moment. As I mentioned last week, I’ve completed the student login system, and I’m actually going to add a login box to the homepage today, so tutors and students will be able to log in from there.
An interesting thing I did last week was to conduct some assessments for new tutors. It’s been absolutely ages since I last did this, and forgot how much I enjoy it. With the summer coming up, I’ll probably do a lot more assessments too, as the demand from new tutors tends to explode around June and July. On the whole the standard was very good, with only a few people being a bit lecture-y, which is the cardinal sin when we’re assessing tutors.
