It appears that more and more children need some help at the age of 6-7 years to succeed at the competitive 7 plus exams. This problem is particularly prevalent in London where there are far fewer places available for an ever increasing number of bright children. It is important to set children on the right track as early as possibly rather than remedy work ethics later down the line. Leaving this critical task to later years only makes the work more difficult and time consuming. So get your child into a good school as early as you can!
