Tuition advice for the summer holiday

At this time of year things calm down a lot, and many students stop lessons with their tutor to resume in September. As students have finished school and exams it is a great idea to have a break and go on holiday. However, tuition should not be regarded as a chore that just has to be done during term time.

If tuition is working well, it should be enjoyable and an opportunity for students to explore their subjects outside of the school curriculum. This can often be difficult to fit in when revising for exams and following a syllabus, so the summer holiday can be a great time for students to begin a more relaxed course of tuition which allows them to enjoy the nuances of their subjects and read around the syllabus.

Whilst it is a good plan for students to have a break, the summer is also an ideal time to really consolidate the good that comes with private tuition, and prepare for the next academic year.
