I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I’ve finally finished the lesson fee checks I was working on, but there are so many other things to do, and I just haven’t left time for everything. In future I’ll just have to make sure that I leave the month of September clear, and consider anything I get done to be a bonus. The mass demand from new students, and also helping all of our new tutors to begin, just takes up all of my and Harriet’s time.
I do have to sort out the student reporting system that I have planned as soon as possible. I promised (only really to myself, but still promised) that it would be ready at the start of this academic year. I don’t actually think it’s a particularly difficult thing to do programmatically, although I’ve said that before and kicked myself, the hard thing is getting it in the right format, but I’ve asked the opinion of a number of our tutors, and hopefully it’s something everyone will be happy with.
