Computer Distractions

I had to get a new computer last week. For a while I had been using three computers, each doing something different, which meant that some days I’d have all three on, and would be switching between them every 5 minutes. It was all very annoying, and obviously not particularly environmentally friendly. I’m keeping my tiny little laptop that I use all the time, but getting rid of the other two, and I’m going to come up with a better way of synching my laptop and new desktop, so that if I have to work away from home, I can simply pick up the laptop and be all set. The reason I mention all of this is because most of last week was spent transferring files over, and organising everything properly. I really don’t know why that seems to take so long, possibly because I was so disorganised before!

While I’ve been distracted with all that computer stuff, things seem to have gone really well. I don’t know whether that’s testament to how smoothly I’ve set up Blue Tutors to run, or whether it means I’m of completely no use on a day-to-day basis. Possibly both! The nice thing is that September and October were our best ever in terms of number of lessons tutored, and November looks to be going to same way.
