The snow is very annoying from a tutoring point of view. Obviously most of our tutors will take public transport, or drive to a lesson, and that’s become a little unpredictable, but even if a tutor is able to walk to a lesson, it’s taking about twice as long to trek through the snow as it would usually. I’ve managed to get to the student I’m teaching, but I’m a bit worried about leaving the lesson and finding 10 inches of snow has fallen, and the tube system has ground to a halt.
Other than that it’s been a fairly quiet week. I ordered a book on Javascript a couple of weeks ago, and was hoping to begin using that to add more functionality to our website, but the snow delayed that too, and I’ve only just received the book. Harriet is off for the whole of this week, so I might find some time to get stuck into the book, but probably not much.
