Tuition Payments Tinkering

It’s felt like a fairly unproductive week, because there have been a few annoying admin tasks to deal with. One of my aims was to tinker with our PayPal account a bit, because it doesn’t do exactly what it should. The main problem is that it doesn’t direct tutors back to our website after they’ve made a payment, which is annoying because often applicants think they’ve booked a tutor assessment, when in fact they haven’t, because they have to make the payment and then confirm the exact time. Also, with online tuition starting soon, I have to make sure that students are directed back to our website once they’ve bought tuition credit. I’m going to get on the case this week, but it shouldn’t take too long, I’ve just got to change a few settings.

Other than that, I’ve ordered lots of tutor flyers to distribute in a month or so. It’s the main way we attract tutors, and we’re hoping for another great intake this summer. I also had to submit our annual employee return, which was surprisingly quick and painless.
