I only arrived back from Spain on Wednesday of last week, and everything’s gone quite slowly since then, largely because of the amount of tutoring I’m doing. I don’t really know how I got drawn into it. When I’m tutoring I become increasingly aware of how much it affects my other work, and I tell myself that I shouldn’t take on so much again, but then, after not teaching for a while, I realise how much I miss it, and just can’t resist taking on a student.
I think things should calm down this week, and I can get back into something like a regular pattern. I’ve planned to go flyering for tutors with Harriet in couple of weeks, so there’s a bit of planning to do before then, but otherwise it’s just business as usual for the next couple of weeks, which hopefully means I can get stuck into the mound of programming I have to do.
