Lessons Calming Down and Recruitment Underway

Things are really starting to quieten down now in terms of the number of lessons taking place. Obviously there are still exams until the end of June for some students, but for many others exams are now finished, and it’s just about waiting the long 2-3 months until the results come out.

Of course, just because our tutors are less busy doesn’t mean any break for me, and we’ve begun to get lots of applications from interested tutors in preparation for next year. This will increase massively at the end of the week when we do our annual marketing campaign in Oxford and Cambridge. I’m really just finalising the preparations for that at the moment, ensuring that we can reach as many potential tutors as possible.

Otherwise I’ve been doing lots of programming, and have pretty much sorted an annoying Javascript problem, which is to design tables which automatically add rows as someone’s filling them in. This means that forms on the website will soon be much more user-friendly for tutors and students alike.
