Online Resources

Do you have enough teaching resources? Do you sometimes struggle to think of how you can teach a particular aspect of your subject?

The internet has a huge number of teaching resources with teachers and experts in the field willing to share their insights and experience, gained over many years of teaching experience.

You don’t always have to sign up, or even pay anything for these resources. Just a bit on googling should get you the free results you need. For example googling ‘English teaching resources’ brings up ‘Teachit.co.uk’ which is a free library full of helpful advice and, as they say, ‘whizzy things’ to help bring your lessons alive. One of their resources is a chapter by chapter guide to a GCSE text - a resource that could keep you going for weeks!

If you are getting a little stale, or struggling to come up with a nice technique for teaching a certain aspect then remember the Web. It’s full of brilliant, easily accessible and, more importantly, free stuff, all there to help you!
