Rewriting Tutoring Guidelines

I did a load more assessments last week, but I think the demand from new tutors is actually slowing down now, which is good in terms of me not having to worry as much about doing them myself, but obviously it’s also better for as many tutors as possible to want to join us. There’s still the problem of virtually no-one setting a good lesson goal, but don’t fear, I’m working on a way to resolve that.

As I mentioned last week, I’m now in Texas for my friend’s wedding, but I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get a reasonable amount done. One of my tasks is to re-write our tutoring guidelines; not because there’s a real problem with them; everyone unanimously complements them, but I do want to make the lesson goal section clearer, probably giving more examples of good and bad goals. I’m also quite keen to rewrite the guidelines just because it’s been four years (I think) since I last updated them, and it feels like I learn something new about tuition every week, so I’m sure I can improve them.
