Consistent Tutor Recruitment

I did some more assessments in London last week, for which there still seems to be a lot of demand. Usually, from January until we market for tutors again in June, the demand for assessments drops off quite a bit, but it remained high last year, and looks set to do the same this year. Obviously it’s always great for tutors to be keen to join us, and I suspect that there being a fairly consistent demand all year around now, means that we’re less reliant on the marketing we do in the summer.

Also, last week Harriet and I met up so that I could get her started on the final stages of the qualification task that should be completed soon. It was interesting for us to go through it and make sure that Harriet completely understands what I’d like her to do; a lot of it is actually pretty difficult, but I think I had forgotten that because of how time consuming it is. It reminds me how important it is that Harriet is knowledgeable and interested in academia; there aren’t many people who could do this work to my OCD standards.
