Our English Tutors

It couldn't be easier to start your English tuition with Blue Tutors. Once we know exactly what you want, we look through all of our English tutors to find someone who will suit you perfectly. Obviously they will be extremely well qualified to tutor for you, but we will also ensure that the tutor can travel to you and have lessons when you need them. Another option is to have online tuition if that makes the logistics easier.

What's Special About Our English Tutors?

Our English tutors are almost all from Oxford or Cambridge where they developed their skills for understanding and analysing texts in a way only taught at Oxbridge. The infectuous enthusiasm brought into lessons by your English tutor rubs off on students and creates the interest in English needed to achieve the best grades. This is no coincidence; your English tutor will have been tutored by world leading academics while at university, and that experience gives them the perfect template to help their own students; bringing an old text to life and showing how it's still relevant in the modern world.

The English Tutor Who Meets Your Requirements

We have been recruiting English tutors from Oxford and Cambridge since 2004, so we have a great mixture of mature experienced tutors and recent enthusiastic graduates. If you tell us which type of tutor suits your needs best then we will try to match you with that ideal tutor. Some students prefer a young enthusiastic tutor who will empathise with them, but others want an older more experienced tutor. It really is up to you. GCSE English tutors and A Level English tutors are the most popular levels of tutors requested, but obviously we tutor younger students including 11+/Common Entrance tuition, as well as older students at university. Our English tutors hold the best degrees in the country, so whether help is needed with creative writing, practical criticism, Shakespeare or any other topic, we'll be able to help. Below is a selection of three of our English Tutors.
